Sholem held our most popular and powerful event of the year -
our secular, progressive Kol Nidre observance on Friday, October 7, 2011. Co-sponsored by Sholem and Arbeter Ring/Workmen's Circle, this program of beautiful instrumental and choral music, readings in English, Yiddish, and Hebrew, communal singing, poetry and reflection was an opportunity to renew ourselves and our community for the new year.
Our ceremony featured musician and singer Zuriani "Ani" Zonneveld, president and co-founder of Muslims For Progressive Values.
