  THE SHOLEM BAR/BAS MITSVE PROGRAM
Sholem offers a bar and bas mitsve program for students at the Sunday school.  The youngsters are encouraged to examine their feelings about their Jewish heritage and to share their findings with the community.

The bar/bas mitsve candidate selects a subject for research and makes a presentation in a program with other celebrants.

The research is conducted and the presentation prepared with the guidance of a Sholem vegvayzer/leader -- Hershl Hartman or Susan Lerner -- who officiate at the ceremonies.

To be eligible for a Sholem bar or bas mitsve, the student must have attended the Sholem Sunday for at least two years.
