	The Sholem Community of Los Angelesis a secular Jewish educational, cultural, and social institution. Our Sunday school teaches Jewish history, culture, and ethics. Our progressive community explores and perpetuates Jewish identity by understanding our history and culture, celebrating our traditions, and observing Jewish holidays. Secular Jewish... Some of us are inter-cultural ("intermarried") families attracted to Sholem because of its emphasis on respect for the cultural heritage of all people. Progressive... Some of us grew up in secular Jewish homes with Yiddish/labor traditions that we'd like to perpetuate. Others have found a way to be Jewish that harmonizes with progressive values of social responsibility and justice. At Sholem...
