DINAMISH (Yiddish for Dynamic)
Sholem's progressive, cultural Jewish activity group geared toward couples/partners and singles in their late twenties and thirties. Sholem also warmly welcomes inter-cultural partners, as well as LGBT singles and couples. Our social events are led by community members involved in Dinamish. The community has something to offer for everyone; whether your interests include the outdoors, movies, theater, cultural events, wine tasting, games, or poker night, this is the place for you. Or just email us for the details of any event and come check it out. Dinamish has so much going on and we are here to help you find your niche in this wonderful community. Wine Tasting	Movie Night	Poker Night	Games Afternoon	Hiking

Wine Tasting Join Dinamish as we explore various wine tasting rooms in Los Angeles. Whatever you’re drinking, we’ll try it! Please bring $10 to cover the costs of your tasting. Bottle Rock, Vinum Populi, Wine House, we will try them all! Feel free to bring a friend. Upcoming Outing: Sunday September 23rd @ 4:00 PM. Looking ahead: Sunday November 11th @ 4:00 PM Contact: dinamish@sholem.org top Movie Night Join Dinamish for outings to documentaries or politically progressive, or limited run independent films, and coffee afterward. We will meet at the box office so we can sit together. Each person will buy his or her own movie ticket. Upcoming Outing: Sunday, September 16 around 5 p.m. at the Westside Landmark to see “the king of kong: a fistful of quarters.” Please contact for meet-up spot and exact time (or just show up and find us!). It's all about meeting other people, sharing some snacks, and seeing if you can make off with a whopping $3.74 at the end of the night. Poker night is only open to Dinamish members who have attended two or more events, as this activity is at member's houses. We will play board games, such as Catchphrase, Taboo, Backgammon, cards, and more. Meet progressive Jews, and their friends, and get to know our community. But mostly, just come have fun! Check out the beautiful scenery that LA has to offer at Will Rogers, Temescal Canyon, Griffith Park, Santa Monica Mountains, Point Magu, and more. SPECIAL EVENTS
Dinamish also provides special activities that are not monthly. Any Dinamish member can assist in coordinating these events. Sholem’s Kol Nidre Program: Join Dinamish at Sholem’s Kol Nidre observance. This program is co-sponsored by the Workmen's Circle. It is an occasion, through words and music, for communal and personal reflection as well as renewal. Date: Friday September 21st @ 7:00 PM at Hamilton High School Auditorium, 2955 S.
