The Sholem Community’s secular (non-religious) celebration of Passover acknowledges its roots as a spring festival and honors the powerful tradition of “Exodus” as a symbolic tale of freedom.
Featuring readings from our Sholem Family Hagada, shared food, group singing with musical accompaniment, in a family-friendly setting with plenty of opportunities for children to participate.
We are continuing our tradition of no admission fee for this event and will be passing a hat for donations to help cover our costs. Suggested donation is $10-20, per your discretion.
Please plan to arrive with your potluck contributions between 10:15-10:45 AM. This will allow time to organize the potluck buffet, find our tables, and be seated.
THE SEDER PROGRAM WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 11 AM.*

* (We need to begin and finish the program on time for those traveling across town afterwards for Mina Goldberg’s Bat Mitsve ceremony at 3pm in Elysian Park.)
