Kol-Nidre 2016

The deadline for Kol-Nidre Tickets has expired.

Please do NOT purchase any tickets through this website as they will not be honored.

Let me repeat — do NOT try to purchase tickets now as, even if the transaction goes through, your tickets will NOT be honored.

Thank you!

Join the Sholem Community for our most popular and powerful event of the year – our secular, progressive Kol Nidre observance. Kol Nidre is the night before Yom Kippur. Informed by Jewish traditions, in music and in spoken word, we reflect on our lives and the state of the world through a humanistic and progressive prism.

Tuesday, October 11, 2016 – 7:00 pm

Auditorium of the Professional Musicians Union, Local 47
817 North Vine Street, Los Angeles (1/2 block north of Melrose)
Los Angeles, CA 90038

Co-sponsored by Sholem and Arbeter Ring/Workmen’s Circle, this program of instrumental and choral music, readings in English, Yiddish, and Hebrew, communal singing, poetry, and reflection is an opportunity to reflect on the past and to renew ourselves and our community for the new year. Our ceremony will once again feature musician and singer Ani Zonneveld, president and co-founder of Muslims For Progressive Values.

Pay online by noon, October 11. (The deadline for mail-in payments has expired).

Our ticket prices are reasonable. We also offer childcare.
