DESCRIPTION:Kol Nidre (Erev Yom Kippur)\nFriday\, October 11\, 2024\n7:00-9:00 pm (PT)\nDoors open 6:30 pm\nCo-sponsored by SoCal Arbeter Ring/Workers Circle \nPresented at the Robert Frost Auditorium\n4401 Elenda Street\, Culver City\, CA\, 90230\n(see below for important parking info) \nKol Nidre\, the evening that initiates Yom Kippur\, is a highlight of the Sholem calendar. Informed by Jewish traditions in music and in spoken word\, we reflect on our lives and the state of the world through a humanistic and progressive prism. A moving opportunity to renew ourselves for the upcoming year; to grieve our losses and enable our hopes. \nCLICK HERE for tickets\nand to submit names for In Memoriam and Yizker\nThe deadline to submit for the IN MEMORIAM slide show is Monday 10/7\, end of day. We are unable to accept In Memoriam requests after that date.  \nYIZKER  is free and names may be submitted electronically until Thursday\, 10/10. You will also be able to submit Yizker names in person from approximately 6:30pm – 7:00pm on Friday\, 10/11 at the Robert Frost Auditorium. Submitted names of loved ones who have passed during this year will be read from the podium during the observance. \nA SPECIAL APPEAL:\nDue to extenuating circumstances\, our Kol Nidre this year is taking place at an elegant and spacious but more expensive venue. If you can\, please help us cover the unexpected increase with a $200 SUPPORTER ticket.
