About the Sholem Community
Founded in the 1950s, Sholem is a multi-generational Jewish community which offers a meaningful alternative for unaffiliated, progressive Jews and intercultural families. Our Sunday School engages children in an exploration of Jewish identity rooted in Jewish cultural literacy and traditions of social justice. Sholem’s programs are similar to those offered by synagogues, but with a secular (non-religious) approach.
