“The December Dilemma” Group Discussion

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., there will be an Adult Activity for Sholem parents and community members.

Longtime Sholem members Laurie Braude and Lois Bostwick will facilitate a community discussion on “The December Dilemma,” which may arise from tension between the celebration of Chanukah and Christmas, especially when the two holidays coincide.  This season can be challenging for many interfaith or intercultural families as they navigate the desire to honor their Jewish identity while also participating in the festive spirit of Christmas.
